| Lorne is a 17 year old High School student who suffers from Epilepsy. His seizures are not completely controlled by medications or surgery. Because of his condition he will not be able to join the military (even though he loves JROTC), He will never have a drivers license and he will be denied many opportunities for employment. People have run away from him in his times of need, laughed at him during seizures, and have tried to put things in his mouth because of misinformation. Seizures are something they don't understand and fear! That's where the Epilepsy Foundation comes in! With your donation you help fund educational opportunities, pay for summer camps, provide medical clinics and give support for those, like Lorne, who want a normal life free from seizures. |
